Default M&P 2.0 9mm APEX

Hi all, long time lurker first time posting.

Just got the M&P 2.0 9mm 5 Inch version. Then after about 600 rds put in the 2.0 Apex trigger (PN: 100-126). I'm getting 6.5-7 lbs of weight on the trigger which is about what i was getting before. anyone else put this kit in? If so what pull weights are you getting? They (Apex) are advertising 5-5.5 lbs.

Also for the 5 inch version if anyone is interested I utilize the G-Code holsters and they are slow to add new holsters. they claim that their 1.0 holsters will not fit the 2.0. But I wanted to keep the RTI setup I have. If you get their GCA39 - Universal RTI Hanger and mount it to a Safariland 578 GLS™ Pro-Fit™ Holster it works great. I'm still on the fence if I like that holster but it works for now until GCode updates their holseters.

Well that is not the results I would want. Makes me wonder if there is some other reason other than the sear that is causing the issue? I would give a call to Apex, they are certainly excellent on customer service and may have some insight to help you out.
I picked up a 2.0 9mm FDE 5" the other day and I was impressed with the factory trigger feel, it felt lighter than 6-7lbs but each and every gun is slightly different.

Leave the factory trigger return spring and you should get less trigger pull weight.

Apex duty kits (the only one available for the 2.0 right now) have tighter springs to compensate for the weight reduction their sear provides. All the springs in that kit are heavier than stock and are pretty stiff at first. They do mellow out over trigger presses but if you are looking for a lighter pull, like shield9mm says, leave the stock trigger spring in. That will cut your pull weight usually to about that 5lb mark.
