Default REBATE Question

I just received a letter telling me that my M&P Shield pistol I bought does not qualify for the rebate. The M&P Shield pistol was bought in July of this year new from Cabelas and the form submitted on line by the 15th of July. Can anyone shed any light on why this would get rejected ? Has this happened to anyone else ? One of the reasons I bought this pistol was because I would get a $75 rebate and that made the price attractive to me. Thanks in advance.

A glance at the rebate page seems to only rule out P.O. Boxes, APO/FPO/DPO or international address.

Did you correctly copy the serial number, and not include #, commas, spaces or dashes?

Did you attach a copy of the receipt (dated, store-identified sales receipt that clearly shows the item purchased) in the formats jpg, jpeg, png, pdf, in a file size under 5MB?

The rebate is a bunk deal. I submitted one right when it started, and have still heard nothing at all. They have no record of it. Neither one.

It's Milano, not Smith & Wesson, but it will reflect on them. They need to yell at Milano.

Do you happen to live in one of the excluded states?

Default Rebate good for Compact .22

Bought a Compact .22 and sent in the rebate info. BUT does it qualify? Supposedly, one gets 2 boxes of Hornady ammo and a mag loader. Hornady doesn't make .22 ammo as much as I could see on various sites so I am not holding my breath waiting? Anyone else feel this way about the .22?

Doesn't the rebate submission form should say what models apply & what are excluded? The 22 model might not be included in the rebate.

Thought they were off the $75 rebate for purchases in July. At that point it was the Summer giveaway (Hornaday rounds, mag charger and magazines). Did you submit the wrong rebtate form perhaps?

Submitted my $75 rebate back at the beginning of the year, Milano finally entered it in the system Jun 23rd and said they mailed a check Sept 8th. I have yet to see the check. I heard it would still take 10 weeks for them to actually mail the check so I waited. Finally found a phone number to them and just called. Someone actually answered the phone and helped me. She said that it comes in a small envelope as big as a postcard and just says PCM on it (so basically looks like junk mail and most people throw it out). Another great way for S&W or PCM to save money as people just get sick and tired of waiting. Anyways she said she would check with the back to make sure it wasnt cashed and if it wasnt they would reissue another one and have it in the mail. Who knows how long that will take? So everyone make sure you look thru every piece of mail you get. Also here's their phone number 856-786-8630 good luck
