Default Apex trigger in IDPA

Hi All
Just curious and can’t find any statistics on this....
Anyone know what percentage of shooters in IDPA (regionals and up) use the full Apex kit with the trigger shoe as opposed to just lightening up and cleaning up the internals?

I've never seen any stats on types of upgraded triggers used in IDPA matches. Seems all the stat info is the different makes/models used. I use a M&P Pro with an Apex trigger and it jumps me up into the ESP division. I don't think trigger shoes are legal in IDPA.

Apex triggers are now approved for USPSA and Steel Challenge production.

Cheers

In SSP, the most numerous Division at major matches, the answer is ZERO. Externally visible modifications are not allowed in SSP.
In ESP, CDP, and CCP, any of the APEX kits are legal. While APEX kits are popular in M&Ps and Glocks, they are not ubiquitous, and M&Ps and Glocks are less common in ESP and CDP at the larger matches. CDP is mostly 1911s, and ESP allows "real factory race guns" like CZ, STI, etc. While popular in club matches, a "gussied up Glock or M&P" does not equal the expensive factory-built race guns.

I could certainly see using all Apex minus their trigger which would be an improvement w/o changing visible parts.

I could see leaving it stock and learning how to shoot it.

I’m a bit late in responding. But, this was very helpful. I’ve seen the charts for what’s popular to shoot with in IDPA. But, I’ve never seen stats on how common certain brands were in the larger matches.
