Default 2.0c 9mm Magazine Spacers

I recently picked up the 2.0c 9mm. I'm looking for extra 17-round mag spacers. Any info on where to get them would be appreciated.

I read a thread awhile ago about the same thing and the answer was to call up s&w and they will send them out. I don't know of anyone who sells them separately at this point

I called S&W customer service. They are sending me a few extras. Nice folks.

Has anyone heard of a mag release issue on the 2.0 compact when using the large back strap? I would appreciate any feed back. Thanks

This might rate a separate thread, but I haven’t heard of any problems. FWIW, I have the medium/large backstrap on mine, and no issues at all.

I don't see how there could be an issue. The back strap is in no way connected to the mag release or mag.

I’ve had no issues when using the large blackstrap. Don’t see how the back strap effects the mag release. As for mag sleeve, Call S&W customer service and they will send you one. If they have them in stock, it took me a few calls once a week to see when they had them again. I just spoke with them Thursday and they had them so mine are on the way

I also wondered how a large size back strap could possibly affect a mag drop. I read about it in a review in the commentary. Probably someone trying to spread doubt about a great firearm.
Thanks for the reply

My guess would be the large back strap didn't allow their thumb to depress the mag release all the way, more of a user issue than weapon issue.

I saw a couple of reviewers on the Brownell's website complaining about the mags not dropping free with the large backstrap. Doesn't make sense to me tho. That's the first and only place I've heard it mentioned.

There are enough issues with the different grips, that according to one S&W rep I asked about it, S&W is exchanging grips for free. I noticed it right away on my 2.0c, and then figured out that it also happens to my 2.0 5". Sadly, I do not believe it is the grip, I believe it is the grip frame. When I leave my 2.0 in my car, overnight, and it's really cold (below freezing outside, not in the garage), and take it out the next morning to clean it, I've noticed the actual frame (with the grip inserts off) restricts the mag from dropping. This has been "tested" on 2 of my 2.0s ... I would love to hear back from any of you willing to try this as well, because I would love it to only be an issue with mine (and then maybe S&W will address it) and not widespread.
