Default Broken Striker Assembly

As I can't find a schematic that lists the striker assembly by part, I'll have to make some stuff up here. On the rear of the striker assembly is a white plastic doodad that interfaces with the textured black plastic doodad that slides into the back of the slide. This is the doodad that you have to use a small tool to press forward before removing the black doodad.

I forgot to press down on the striker block before I attempted to remove striker assembly, and the rear white plastic doodad shattered as I man handled the assembly out.

Is there anywhere I can buy just that plastic doodad? The striker assembly is about 30 bones, and being that I broke a 22 cent piece, I'd like to just buy that part.

Thanks all

Just call smith and wesson customer service and explain to them that the white plastic sleeve that attaches to the striker assembly broke,I'm not sure of it's correct name but they will know,I'm sure they will send you out a new piece no problem.Hope this helps.

Striker Channel Liner? S&W doesn't really put out schematics like other manufactures do. They should really look to change that short coming.

Is it this puppy? M&P Striker Channel Liner, All Except 45 & 45C [1717] - $1.75 : Welcome to Speed Shooter Specialties

S&W with their policy change in what parts they now require to be fitted/installed at the factory, and no longer sell them directly to the public, might make this unavailable to you from S&W.

That's a common part that gets replaced in Blocks all the time when they crack, called a spacer sleeve. I would think that S&W would send you one rather than having to replace the entire striker assembly. I haven't seen them separately available anywhere for the M&Ps like I have for the Blocks.
