Default removing and installing front sight on M&P 9c

My M&P 9c is shooting low and S&W kindly provided a free lower front sight. I have an MGW sight pusher to remove old front sight and install new front sight. But was wondering if direction of front sight removal and installation is in any specific direction. Thanks for any info.

As you hold the gun, remove to the right, install to the left. If the new sight is too tight adjust the dovetail by lightly trimming the bottom of the sight. Use a fine cut file or fine grit polishing cloth, 220-400 grit. Lay the polishing cloth, or paper, on a fat surface, same for the file, and using firm pressure draw the sight across the abrasive or file 1-2 strokes and try the fit.

What MGW sight pusher do you have? Every time I search for one for the M&P it says it’s discontinued.

The universal sight pro. Expensive but handles most any pistol with $18 adaptor.
