fiber optic rod size question.
Broke the front sight rod in my M&P Pro at a match today.....and don't have a means for which to accurately measure the hole diameter.
Any one know if it is a .060 diameter? The extra rods for my Hi Viz sights are too large.
Thanks for your help !
Randy
PS. What about who would have made it for S&W? Maybe Tru-Glo? My Hi Viz sights are quite different.

My M&P Pro 9 is .060. Brownell's carries a variety of colors. Cut a bit long and heat the end with a match. Rounds over nicely.

This is right on the money. I keep extras and a lighter in the range bag.

Forums are great aren't they? I had put the FO rods in my bag along w/ a lighter. On another forum someone had mentioned his nails were digging into his hand and someone suggested a nail clipper in his bag. I remembered I had that problem one day, so I got myself a clipper. Now I see the clipper can do double duty.
