Default Help with slide stop

I researched this question and couldn't find anything definitive so I figured I would ask directly:

I know that S&W updated their slide stop in the newer issue 1.0 series pistols around 2015-ish? with a small bump that was supposed to improve the feel of the reset. Does anyone know if they did that with the 45 or 45c? I found places saying they did upgrade it and some saying they did not.

The CS agent I spoke with at S&W said they did upgrade it, and put one on backorder for me so who knows when I'll get it to see if its upgraded or not.

Any of you S&W gurus out there know what the deal is with the slide stop for sure?

As reference, my 45c has a 2014 date of manufacture and does not have the upgraded slide stop, but my 2 9c's with 2016 and 2017 manufacture dates do.

Thanks in advance for your help!

I bought my FS and Compact in 2014. They did not have the bump. They also had "S" stamped trigger bars. I bought the updated ones separately. It applied a bit more side force to the trigger bar to make the reset a bit more tactile and audible.

I can't say about the .45s.

Yeah I’ve seen the 9mm/.40 slide stop out there, but never one for the 45. Wonder if they’re the same? I can’t imagine they would be since the frame is slightly different on the 45s.
