Default Shield 45 Dropping Mags

Is anyone with a Shield 45 having problems with the mags dropping while you shoot it? Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Have you made sure that you slam it home? Have you tried locking the slide back, inserting the mag and then letting the side return?

Call S&W and tell them. They have improved the magazine followers and will likely send you replacements. That seems to correct the problem. Also make certain that you thumb is not coming into contact with the slide release during firing and recoil. That can also cause the problem. Good luck!
