Default MP 45 Shield serial number

Recently bought a MP 45 Shield Performance center. Was wondering, is anyone else’s serial number on the frame hard to read? Should I be concerned? I searched but didn’t find anything. Sorry if there already is a thread for this. Thanks

I have two, both have what looks like a little extra polymer "bleed over" from when I guess they press the metal SN plate into the frame. Neither obscures the SN. If I cared, I suppose one could trim the polymer back with a razor blade or Exacto knife. So far I have not felt the need. YMMV

On my M&P 45 Shield the first letter on the frame appears to be smudged.

The last two digits of mine were not engraved/stamped deeply enough and are almost impossible to read. I'm not too concerned though.
