Hello,

I have recently purchased and attained my CPL for a S&W M&P .45, 4.25" and am having some trouble finding a good OWB concealed holster. Does anyone have any suggestions?

What material, i.e. leather, kydex, nylon, etc? Style- side snap, paddle, belt loop, other? Price range?

What actual, "trouble" are you having?

Is it finding a holster for that particular weapon or is it that there are so many choices?

The process should probably be:

Fits the weapon

Fits your carry mode

Fits your clothing choices for concealability.

Look at Safariland or Alien Gear. My son has one of each for his pistol like you mention in your post.

Best advice I can give, invest in a good gun belt. Whether you pick leather or Kydex a good stiff belt will hold it up and disperse the weight. Make sure the belt is wide enough to fill the slots in the holster. Any play and the holster rides up a bit before the pistol comes out.

What's your dollar limit?
