Question Stainless slides??

Does S&W sell stainless colored slides for an m&p ez shield 2.0? And if not is there a process to get my slide slide that color?

The only Shield EZs with stainless-colored slides are four distributor exclusive models. Bill Hicks & Co. offers two models with silver matte cerakoted slides and Lipsey's offers two models with satin aluminum cerakoted slides. You probably could not buy the slides separately.

If you just want the slide to have a stainless color, you could probably find someone locally to cerakote or otherwise paint the slide. You could also have the slide plated in nickel or hard chrome. Mahovsky and Ford have good reputations for metal plating.

I had my fullsize M&P slide milled for an RDS and serrations added about 5 years ago, then it was refinished in NiB (Nickel Boron), it has a dull silver color to it.

NP3 is another great coating, this used to be done by Robar but they stopped finishing guns a year or two ago and sold the rights to another company called "Wright Armory". The Robar finish was great, I have not used the new company yet but I would think it should be the same. Some guys call it Nickel Teflon, it is a wonderful coating. You need minimum lube because it is a slick surface and you can wipe the gun clean with your tee shirt if you want. The NP3 is a dull grey color.

The only reason my current edc was done in NiB is because Robar had a 9 month wait at that time. I will honestly say the NP3 is a better finish (stronger) than the NiB.

The RK ad shows the MPN/SKU is 13328.

The S&W list shows SKU 13328 is the Lipsey's Exclusive.
