Dos anyone use the Federal HST 147gr standard pressure 9mm in your M&P Shield ?

How about with the (second generation) +1 and+2 MagGuts replacement springs and followers in your factory S&W mags ?

I own a 9mm Shield and am going to order Magguts replacement springs & followers for my mags.

Federal HST 147 9mm is the load I use, I have lots of supply, so I am just checking to see if anyone has had any problems with this combination.

I tried the HST 147 in my 9mm Shield with the Magguts +2. Lot of failures to extract. I'm going back to my tried and true Gold Dots. No issues with them.

I happen to own a very large supply of Federal HST 147gr 9mm and have four MagGuts kits on the way !

We will have to see if they work in my Shield ?

Yes. I tried about a dozen loads for this gun, and 147HST was the most accurate for me, so it's what I carry.

I have the magguts gen 1, but after issues I had at the range on Friday, I literally just dropped them in the mail for replacement by corso 5 minutes ago. They'll send me the new gen kits to replace.

Seems like a great company to work with so far.

My shield impresses me every time I take it to the range, and I have some REALLY nice other guns (SVI, etc). But the shield is what I carry now.

Before friday, I had no issues with the gen 1 magguts kits with this ammo. The failure I had was on a +1 7rd mag, and the follower came out with one round left, and caused a jam. They redesigned the followers to prevent this. And also, that was not with my carry ammo, it was with S&B 124 nato.
