Hi all,

I have a M&P 40 Shield with a LaserMax mounted below the barrel (its not a 2.0 M&P). The pistol itself is a bit **œsnappy**� and I was wondering that since the LaserMax seems to have a grip at the end of it, if I should place my index finger around that in an alternate grip as it feels like I can truly wrap my hands around this small pistol/have better grip with my support hand. What do others think? My finger is clear/under the barrel.

I'd give it a try. There are many pistols that have the front of the trigger guard squared off and cross hatched so they must think it worthwhile. Go to the hardware store and get some sand paper surface stair non-slip tape to add to that surface. heat it a little w/ a hair drier to help it wrap around to the side a little.
