Default Did S&W ever make this M&P45?

Awhile back I wanted a new suppressor host saw the M&P45 and there were two sizes. I wanted the "mid size" which was the same grip but shorter slide and barrel. It appears S&W never made a midsize threaded.

I asked a gunsmith who is know for S&W work and they told me it couldn't be done because the barrel would be too long to fit in a midsize slide, the angle going in would be wrong.

So... Imagine my surprise when I find exactly that on Gunbroker, a "mid size" threaded. Did S&W ever make this size threaded? Does anyone make barrels to do this?

Thanks! I have a threaded Glock in 45 now and really would prefer an M&P. The price is right on this thing so I figured I'd check here to see if there were any issues or options!

I found this Kit on their website 4.5" threaded and 5.18" threaded. Is this what you are after?

Right so that's the full size where it's 4.5" normal and extra length threaded. I wanted the 4" version then a 4.5" or so threaded. But was told it wouldn't be able to fit in the slide to assemble it as the angle is too sharp.

This is the one I'm talking about: https://www.gunbroker.com/item/778714535 Trying to see if S&W ever made a factory model like this. And... Really how this guy even did it. I'm going to guess there is slightly less sticking out than the factory model maybe?

For preservation sake... I found the answer.

I called S&W and no, they never made a threaded midsize 45. My gun smith wasn't correct that it wouldn't work, it needs ever so slightly less space between the slide and the end of the threads to fit - but should fit almost all suppressors just fine. Apparently S&W had plans for one but it never made sense to add a whole different part numbers, but the guy I talked to said he had plans of doing the same.
