Default M&P 2.0C Dry Fire to the left compared to G19? (Left handed)

I'm not sure what happened to me other post but it's not showing up.

Details:
-I shoot a M&P 2.0 Compact
-I'm left handed

I've noticed that when I dry fire, the front sight jumps to the left oh so slightly. I always blamed this on user error, but I had just dry fired a Glock 19 and a Glock 26 for awhile and I experienced zero jumping to the left.

Is this a known issue? I'm not able to live fire right now to see if there is any effect on the accuracy.

Thank you to anyone who can help out!

I’m not a lefty. Out of curiosity is this your first M&P? I ask because others may inquire as to trigger familiarity.

I wouldnt worry about it

Go to the range and see what ACTUALLY happens.

Dry firing gives extremely limited feedback on how a gun shoots

I dry fire to smooth out new triggers..... thats about all

Yes, first one.

I just find it odd that there would be such a difference between the Glocks (no movement whatsoever)

IMO its a toss up.

it has alot to do with many variables. How we press the trigger and grip with both primary and support hands. Mechanical side, OT after the striker has been released. if we have a weak grip and trigger finger emphasis to either side....when you go from 6 lbs to 0 after the striker has been released and you still have a some trigger movement left....you will see the front sight jump.

when I got my 2.0 compact....if my grip was weak during dry fire....I would see front sight movement. After installing Apex duty kit, it cleaned up OT and I dont see a front sight jump with a good grip.

my .02
