Default M&P 17 Round Magazines
I just bought three of the 17 round mags for my M&P 9 Compact because I couldn't find the 15 round mags.

While loading them up, I noticed they loaded the last round pretty easy. I tried a 18th round, and it loaded. I'm using them with 17 rounds, but it's interesting that they will actually hold 18.

Thanks to someone on this site I was able to get 2.0 compact mags from here,
Smith & Wesson M&P M2.0 Compact 9mm 15 Round Magazine – Mag Com

All of mine will also hold 18 rds! Bought gun & mags last Oct. have heard S&W did a change to mags so newer ones only hold 17, but I don't know what was done or am not even sure but heard it!

Well that sucks. I just bought a 15 and mag from Midway USA for $34.00 along with some ammo. Oh well, I saved the link for next time.
