Default New 2.0

I picked up my brand new full size M2.0 a couple weeks ago. Honestly, the first couple times at the range I didn’t shoot it very well. Definitely not as good as I shoot my XD. It was frustrating to say the least because I loved the feel and the low recoil on the smith. Today it was like I was a different person lol. I was putting rounds on top of each other from 7 and ten yards fairly easily. I’m not a great shooter by any stretch so that’s a good group for me. Anyway, I was talking to my buddy and he said I was just probably so excited to have the new M&P that I was forgetting some of the fundamentals the first couple times out. Idk. Maybe. Either way the pistol is shooting great and I understand what all the hype was about. Finally. Thanks for reading.

Welcome to the forum from Kansas. I have a 2.0 compact and the more I shoot it the better I like it. Congrats on your success on your last range trip.

Welcome and congrats on the new pistol. The 2.0’s are good shooters.

Congrats on the new 2.0. I wasn't going to buy any of the 2.0's because I was happy with my 1.0's. Well, I came upon a great deal on a fullsize 2.0. Loved everything about it especially the grip texture. It was so much more comfortable in hand compared to any of my Glocks. Decided I wanted the 4" compact too. Of course they come out with a smaller compact so had to get one of those as well. Just picked it up this afternoon and literally just got done installing Trijicon sights and an Apex trigger.

Ha! I hit a good deal on mine as well. There’s a 50 dollar rebate available from smith. Are you putting Apex triggers on all your 2.0’s? I’ve heard a lot about the 2’s trigger but I think I can deal with mine. I make mod to night sights tho

The stock triggers are actually pretty good. However, my 1.0's have Apex triggers in them which allow me to shoot them more accurately and faster too. So I installed them in my 2.0's as well. Just received my $50 rebate today.
