I have an older M&P Compact 22 that has one of those rough barrels.
Within 50 rounds it starts to lead up and I start getting fliers. Clean the lead out and back to shooting OK again but leading returns & fliers come back.
I can only go about 30 rounds through my suppressor then have to worry about baffle strikes.
I was going to send it back to S&W but from past threads that seems to do no good as many seem to get a rougher barrel back from Smith than they sent in.
Any input on, IF, Smith has gotten a handle on the rough barrels, or are they still shipping barrels built by a Cave Man with stone tools?
