Talking Holster, 9c vs 3.6" 2.0

Does anyone have a kydex holster for their 9c, and it also happens to fit the new 3.6" 2.0?

Or, do I get to buy a new holster? IWB

Does your's have an open bottom? If so, I can see a reason why it wouldn't work.

The Safariland 578 GLS Pro-Fit fits the 2.0 3.6 nicely and the packaging says it fits the 9C. Package does not specifically state 2.0 or otherwise.

Does not fit, but the new one does. and, it is more than just length. I could get the 3.6 in, but it was very very difficult to pull it out. The new one is very similar, and fits like a glove, and works well! Foxtrotconcealment for the win!

So does the foxtrot holster specific to 3.6”?

I have failed to find a single holster that is made for the 3.6” 9C.

I doint the gen 1.0 9C with 3.5” holster will work for being too short unless the bottom is open. Most are not.

Sure the 4.0” 2.0 holster will work. But part of my decision to buy the 3.6” was I wanted a shorter barrel AND holster to more easily carry appendix. It totally defeats the purpose if I have to buy a holster that is half inch longer than needed.

Maybe it is still too new. But these holster makeers often brag about the 350 or more specific models they make holsters for. So how hard is it to make one more mold for the 3.6”?

I am not in too big of a hurry to need a holster. But I will need one by October for a SD class I want to take using my 3.6 9c rather than my 9mm shield.

Yes, the foxtrot is 3.6" specific, and I understand it was molded off his own gun!

Make sure you contact Ryan, to get exactly what you want. It is not yet in his catalog, but he does make it!

That is great news! If they make a big PR marketing push on this they being as far as I know the very first manufacturer to make 3.6” IWB, they could capitalize on sales. As really is 3.6” owners have only two options. This 3.6” specific, or settle for a larger than needed 4” holster, or modify bu cutting off the bottom 1/2 inch of a brand new holster and void any warranty!

I called both foxtrot comcealmwnt, and concealment express.

Here are the answers I got related to 2.0 9c 3.6”

Foxtrot does indeed have an IWB specifically for the 3.6”. Have to Specifically talk to seller as the 3.6” one is not YET on their website but it is available. It will work for either manual safety or nonmanual safety versions. Key note if it is important to you. Foxtrot model is NOT a tuckable version.

concealment express stated they are anout 2 to 4 weeks out as of today to have a dedicated 3.6” holster version a available. However their tuckable model for the compact will work with all models. As their design has the barrel/slide extend out the bottom of their tuckable versions. So the 4” and 4.25” will stick out a fsir amount. But the 3.6” will only extend out the bottom a small amount if at all. Concealment express nontuckable have a sweat shield, while their tuckable versions do not. If that is important feature for you.

What I want isn’t yet made. I want a tuckable that has a full sweat shield. Not sure how long I want to wait for that option.

BTW: both of the holsters above from either firm are “only” $35

I have a nontuckable concealment express IWB for my shield and I like it alot. I really would like a tuckable version though. Especially one with a full sweat shield.

Talked again with Ryan at Foxtrot concealment.

Super costomer service. He is going to send me BOTH a tuckable and non-tuckable holster specific for the 2.0 9c with 3.6”. I will then decide to keep both, or return whichever I don’t like back Foxtrot concealment.

Cannot ask for better service than that! I am excited for the holster to arrive!

I will report back what I think after they arrive!

Just saw today that concealment express just put on their website a dedicated 3.6” NON- tuckable holster.

They do also make a tuckable that is open bottomed and will accept the 3.6”, 4” and full size.

Thanks a lot, Buddy! Now I am considering a tuckable one too!
