Default EDC Sub 5lb Trigger

Just curious. Does anyone EDC an M&P with a sub 4 or 5 pound Apex trigger? If an M&P is one of your main EDCs and you have a trigger kit installed, what's your trigger weight?

I have the APEX trigger and duty/carry kit on my 1.0 Shield. Not sure of the trigger weight, but it's not as light as the trigger on my friend's new 2.0 Shield with only the APEX striker block.

My Shield 9mm 1.0 with Apex sear is at 4½ lbs. It was 6½ lbs new out of the box. My Shield .45 is at 5½ lbs from the factory.

I know most won't agree but I find the factory Shield 1.0 9mm to have the perfect trigger for that type of EDC gun. I wouldn't want it any lighter. I do carry a 1911 with a lighter trigger sometimes but it has a couple of safeties and generally more holster.

I put an Apex sear in to get a crisper break and shorter reset. It did that very well. But it dropped the trigger pull down into the 4 lbs. range. I installed a heavier return spring and it came back up to 5ish. At 4 lbs. I was double tapping. I was probably thinking "wow this trigger is light", pew..pew.
