Who likes having a safety on the full size but hates the large style on current models. I have the full sized M&P 45 with the manual safety. I would love to have a Shield style safety on the full size models. I tend to hit the safety while racking the slide. My wife needs to grasp the slide in a way that it interferes with operating the slide as she grasps the safety with the slide. A flush safety like the Shield would solve this without removing the safety feature. And it would help for it to be a more positive safety. It doesn't seem to click into place as well as the Shield.

I’ve been badgering S&W for 6 years now to put the Shield safety on the full size M&P’s but no luck so far.
