Default Which OWB holsters are folks using for their 2.0 compact 3.6" models?

So I'm finding few holster manufacturers have anything listed for the 3.6" versions. Those that do list holsters that will work for the 3.6 give me the impression they're actually designed for the 4.0" model but "will work."

Ideally I'd love to find something designed for the 3.6" since I am going to try to concealed carry OWB (so I don't want extra holster hanging below my shirt.) I'm not sure I'm going to find anything so I might have to settle for a 4.0" holster....

Here's what I've been looking at so far but haven't been able to decide:

Desantis: (this seems like a multi-gun "will work for 3.6" model, I like the locking feature for retention)

Desantis again: This one is definitely the same holster marketed for both 2.0c versions, possibly even the full size.

https://www.desantisholster.com/pega...addle-holster/

Desantis also has leather OWB holsters in a couple of models available on their website, the "slide" versions with open bottoms, but the "scabbard" with enclosed muzzle isn't an option, which makes me think again these are all 4.0" holsters that "will work" for the 3.6...with extra material.

Priority 1: This one MIGHT be molded for the 3.6 but again, I get the feeling it might be one that "works" for the shorter version but has too much extra length.

https://priority1holsters.com/modular-owb-holster/

So am I missing any options out there? Does anyone have a holster for their 3.6" that they really like and isn't too long to conceal OWB under a shirt?

Thanks in advance!

Kydex isn’t all that hard to cut/trim.

I have found nothing for the 3.6”. Only 4”.

I guess I may buy the 4” model and wait for the 30 day warranty to end and then trim it to fit.

I bought the 3.6” because I didn’t want the 4” length. Defeats the purpose if you have to buy a 4” holster!

So, this is new:

https://priority1holsters.com/s-w-m-...pact-9-40pchs/

It's IWB, but looks to be designed specifically for the 3.6"

I just don't feel like buying all new pants with an extra inch of space in the waist.....

Thank you! I chatted with them and they confirmed even though their 3.5" holster doesn't say it's for the 2.0, the 1.0 and 2.0 both work in all of their holsters of this version and the 3.5" is the correct one I'd want.

Bought the Bravo concealment 4" holster for owb. May cut the bottom off later, but doesn't seem neccesary right now. Great holster.

But Priority 1 holsters makes 3.6" specific holsters. Came away with their plain clothes holster iwb system and mag carrier.

I am now second guessing my holster choice for the new 3.6 9c.

I started out wanting a tuckable IWB made for the 3.6”.

I am now thinking that I usually carry even my shield because my current shield holster is not tuckable, with a shirt untucked. If Inhave to go with shirt untucked, there is really no need to have an IWB to begin with.

Since the 9c is wider and I also concern that without buying all new pants, that IWB with the double stack may be uncomfortable.

So now I’m thinking OWB for the 9c when I can carry untucked or with sport jackst etc, and buy a tuckable holster for my shield for appendix and deeper cover due to clothing would make more sense.

On the other hand, I could still gst IWB and just put the holster between the outside on the pants and inner side of the belt. Basically making it OWB while still having the ability to IWB. Especially if I were to shed a few pounds and reduce my waist size some. LOL

Just too many things to think about and not enough money to buy several different holsters just to experiment.

Default Brownells has cut back on their Safariland offerings

Safariland 578 GLS Pro-Fit, sub-compact. Fits like a glove.

A retail person can order direct from Safariland with free shipping over $75.00. It looks like they are selling direct more easily than they used to. The holster website is pretty useful for fit and finishes.

Brownells looks like they are closing out the Safariland line of holsters.

I am not interested in paddle type. And I think they only make it for the 4” model. Yes it will work. But I bought a short barrel to have a short holster too! IfI wanted the extra half inch to carry, I would have bought the 4” model not the 3.6”.

Sure wish the holster makers would get on making the 3.6” dedicated holster!

I use a Crossbreed for my 1.0c.
CrossBreed(R) Holsters SuperSlide OWB Holster
I get this one which has the largest piece of leather of all the models. This way I can cut down the top of the leather to suit me.

If you like kydex check with Jim at Panther Concealment. OWB or IWB. I think he can fix you right up. I love the OWB paddles,a very unique paddle design. Check out the website. I plan to get a carbon fiber for my 3.6, use a black owb for the 45 Shield currently.
