Default Pro price check

I have an excellent condition 5” Pro 9mm, original box, papers, all backstraps and 5 17rd mags. I replaced the fiber front sight and Novak rear sights with Trijicon HD sights (have the originals) gunsmith installed Apex forward set sear and aluminum trigger (also have stock parts). Also a KT Mech suede lined holster.

It’s a great pistol, accurate and 100% reliable. I just don’t shoot it and don’t need a range toy-have plenty of others. I’d rather have a 2.0 Compact (plenty around @ $400+-). Open to suggestions on a fair price?

If I decide to sell I’ll post it here. Bear in mind shipping is $40 from my dealer.

Thanks for your thoughts.

Personally, I'd wait to sell it until after the $50 rebate rolls off on 9/2/18. If you do decide to sell it you should list it in the classified section on the forum.

Ahhh, I forgot about the rebates, thanks. It’ll definitely go up here as I mentioned, really have no idea what to ask for it.

$40 for recieving a gun, logging into A&D book, doing background check an filing 4473 is a lot more work and time than just logging in and shipping. You may want to shop around for another FFL. Although any individual may ship to an FFL. No sending dealer needed. JMHO

Around here, the 5" Pro goes for about $525 with rebate, and is popular with IDPA/SSP shooters, for which it comes all set up.
However, all your mods make it unsuitable for SSP, and put it more in the (some what oddball) range toy rather than competition pistol.

I wish you luck in getting the cost of the modifications back on the sale, and would tend to ask gun + trigger + extra mags + ?? little for rest. YMMV

Well for me to use a common carrier to ship has run $65+ and that was over a year ago (either FedEx or UPS). My dealer can ship USPS two days (just sold a gun to a gentleman in SC, got there in two), packs it up nicely and insured for the $40 so according to my public school math that's a better deal. No NCIC needed on my part to send it. Perhaps your laws are different.

I'm not looking to get rich on this gun but I don't want to give it away either, got it pre-owned unfired from a friend of mine at a good price. He was going to use it as his duty gun but decided to stick with his G17.

Just looking for a fair idea-with the mags it'll need to go to a free state (here in Colorado we're limited to 15 rounds unless owned prior to July 2013 as mine are).

I was thinking around $550 but not real sure, don't see many locally for sale and those that are don't have any mags.

It's a stellar "range toy" or home/vehicle gun, a little big for me to carry concealed.

Thanks for the feedback, it's appreciated.

I can always keep the trigger parts and return it to stock (the only mechanical mods to the gun)-don't think the night sights would disqualify for IDPA after a quick check of the rules.

If it's a money thing I'd go $525 delivered. If you have interest at less, I'd revert back to factory parts and sell the Apex on EBay. Mid Terms are coming up and if there is a shift the panic buyers will be out. Make up some dollars then. Not that I want to see a shift. Maybe do a bit better in trade.
