Default Looking to Build RMR Carry Gun

I have a 2.0 4 inch gun that's my every day carry. I shoot much better with a red dot than normal iron sights because of old eyes.

Is there a place that sells customized slides for M&Ps? I don't really want to buy a whole new gun. Goal is RMR and Trijicon suppressor sights as BUIS.

A number of shops do great work milling you slide to accept an RMR.

I've used L&M Prescison for a couple of Glocks and an M&P .45 mid-size. Really happy with all the results.

Good luck in your choices.

If you specified a certain model I missed it. If I understand correctly you want to install the red dot sight on your pistol. If it happens to be a Shield you don't have to buy a new gun nor a new slide.
Go to Lone Wolf Industries. If you have a Shield they'll mill the slide for a hundred dollars, well, a few cents less. Depending on what red dot sight you have, you can send it along with your slide and they'll mount after milling your slide. Or, no red dot, you can purchase one of their several brands. (For less than you'll usually find elsewhere)
The did my Shield and I bought their Shield RMS red dot for less than anywhere else I found.
I'm planning on them milling my G43 and installing the Shield RMSc on it.
G'luck

When Glock makes a Gen 5 G19 with the cut slide I'll be buying one. However, the Gen 4 version is tempting. I very much like the setup on my Gen 4 G40.

The gun is a 4 inch length M&P 2.0 Compact. I'm looking to get What Lone Wolf describes as a combat cut. LW doesn't look like it does M&Ps other than Shields.

For the OP: good luck with your efforts. I think it is a worthwhile upgrade. My FNX-9 is at Parker Mountain Machining at this time -- being milled for a Trijicon RMR cut

This is an (expensive) experiment, but the red dot sight offers a lot for older eyes.

The FNX-9 is a very solid, reliable pistol -- I'd be talking about a M&P-9 for this experiment -- if they came with a hammer.

My G17 was done by L&M - first rate work.

I believe it was Agency Arms that was suggested to me as an option if I buy an M&P, but I am not personally familiar with their work.
