New Shield 45 PC and Vedder IWB
Just picked up my Shield 45 Performance Center and in preparation, I had ordered a Vedder kydex IWB LightTuck this week.
Perfect fit and finish on both the Shield and holster. Anyone looking for an excellent IWB for their Shield should check out Vedder's site.

Best IWB holster, with all the adjustments, and excellent customer service.

What position do you find the LiteTuck comfortable to carry. I have one for my Shield 9 and I'm ready to sell it because it pokes me no matter where I place it. Ready to go back to leather.

I have a light tuck for my Shield. I wear it, with full forward cant, behind my right hip. Generally pretty comfortable.

I have the Light Tuck for my Glock 43. Also full forward cant at 4 O'Clock and find it very comfortable!

I'm at about 3-3.30, deepest ride setting; and I haven't measured it but I'd guess 20* forward cant.

I like the looks of the vedder holster. Unfortunately they do not yet make a light tuck for the 3.6” 2.0 compact!

I've been strong side appendix IWB carrying for over 25 years now - so this is where this one rides.
As I prefer AIWB carry, it is a good reason for me to stay in shape over the years.

Keep after them - I have ordered a few IWB LightTucks (5) over the last year and have called them a few times and asked them about one for a j-frame as they do not offer any for a revolver on their web site. When I placed this last order, I asked again about one for a j-frame and now they said it was "in the works".

I had the Shield 45 and then the Veddar Light Tuck, and love them both. Then Veddar came out with the claw accessory for the LT and I bought it and installed it. Now I love mr LT even more! I highly recommend all three!

Stupid question.
What is the claw for? It looks odd and uncomfortable and I dont see what it is for?

It holds the butt of the gun in against your side.

I bought the claw add on kit, but it didn't yield much benefit the way that I carry. It'd be ideal for appendix though.

I'm not a fan of the claw and I do carry AIWB. The Shield stays pretty tight as is in the LightTuck IWB without one....at least for me.

When installed, the claw “foot” sits behind tor belt and waistband and presses outward against your belt. This hold or moves the butt and grip closer to your body. From 3:00 rearward on your waist, it works well for me for that purpose. The butt of my grip tends to print through my shirt tail less and it is more comfortable when sitting.

Wait. They make a .45 ACP Shield now?
And I thought I was done buying guns.

That holster looks to be an excellent fit. Your Performance Center .45 Shield is beautiful. Nice rig, all the way around.
