Looks like S&W has released a new M&P 2.0 .45 4” barrel. Now, let’s have one with shorter grip.

I was really hoping for around 5" overall height with the 4" barrel.

This is nothing more than their older "midsize" 45.

Which is the perfect size in my opinion. I will be purchasing one of these to go with my 4" and 3.6" 9mm 2.0 Compacts.

Yeah but the midsize M&P is very popular, it's a logical evolution as they continue to rollout the new 2.0 trigger and grip texture across the product line.
