Is there a GOOD, bright yellow, paint made for the front sights?

I found some yellow paint made for archery sight pins in wally world , came in fluorescent ...green , white , orange , yellow and red paint kit .
It was made by TRUGLO called Glo-Brite Paint Kit.
This little kit is the best for trying different colors. Bic White Out correction fluid can be used as a flat white base coat.

Nail polish works and it comes in SO SO many colors!

And if you don’t like it, comes right off with acetone (with Vitamin E, if you like)

And it comes with its own brush...

I use a round toothpick to paint sight dots. A little experimenting to get the size of the drop just right and it pops right into hole in the the sight.

Clear coat over the top. Clear nail polish works well. It protects the paint and slows fading of the color due to UV light.

I have the yellow as well as a BRIGHT orange. Last a long time and easy to apply. I do feel a bit odd checking out at the makeup counter. White pre-coat is important.

I’ll second the Testors model paints. They make a Fluorescent line of enamels, Yellow is #1177. I’ve also had excellent luck with the fluorescent Orange #1173 for front sights. One small bottle will last forever.

It's a joke, but big front site on handgun works wonders,

I just use a white paint marker. The kind you shake, then push down on an object to get the felt tip to fill with enamel paint.

Simple black marker with a medium point to get into the dot recess. Never a problem.

For me, white/black contrast works best because of spectrum wash-out in nature. In other words, there are relatively few pure white or pure black backgrounds. So, in theory, a contrast of stark black/white might be better for many people.

or, I could be totally wrong, too.

+2 on the Testor's yellow. I've been using it for 30+ years after I tried it on my competition Civil War Maynard carbine (original).
I'd pull a nearby blade of grass, dip it in the bottle, and put it on the back of the front sight. Dries quickly so I can put a few layers of paint on the sight in just a few minutes. Worked great and I continue to use it.
I prefer the yellow to the other fluorescent colors to my vision, and it picks up the hanging clay pigeons, 4" clay pots, 6" square ceramic tiles, and 1 gallon plastic jugs filled with water used for N-SSA competition targeting at 25- and 50-yd distances.

I have always had good luck using nail polish on the front sight.
Though I really need to stop yelling “I found what I needed!” while in the beauty supply store w/ the wife.

Nail Polish. Available everywhere, cheap, any color you want, comes with its own brush, this time of year it's pretty easy to find glow in the dark as well.

I use a paint pen for my white.

I wanted a bright gold front dot in place of a m&p over the junk white dots and let my wife take it with her to her next nail appointment and the girl did it just right . Looks like it has a gold bead now not a white dot . front sight . Back white dots were blacked out in a black that matches the rear sight . Cost - zero
