Truglo TFX sights for 45 Shield and M&P compact 2.0.
I have a set of Truglow TFX sights on my Glock 26 and love them. Truglow sells a sight set 'for all M&P'.
Not sure if I believe they are good for all the guns in the M&P range.
So I'm wondering whether anybody else has installed these sights on a Shield or a M&P 2.o compact.
Thanks.

I just put them on my Shield .40 this week. Went on fine. And I agree, I like them.

I put a set on my .45 Shield (now my sons .45 shield). No problems. These are my favorite sights and any pistols I own that can use 'em have 'em.

Have them on a Shield and just put them on a 4” 2.0 Compact. No problems. Love them!

The Shield (exc 380EZ) and the full size, all calibers, 1.0 and 2.0, and the M2.0 Compacts all use the same sights. Not sure about the 9C. Pretty sure the Bodyguard and M&P .22 must be different. I have the TFO sights on my Shield and full size, and have put them on a friend's 2.0 Compact.

Did they change the point of impact compared to the original sights?
Were the originals difficult to remove or the TFOs difficult to assemble?
Thanks!

My original rear sights were a real PIA to push out. The front was not so bad. New sights went in tight but easy. Point of impact stayed the same on the 2 guns.

What sort of tools did you use? Sight pusher? Brass punch?

My point of impact didn't change, either. Front sight was most difficult on my Shield, using sight pusher. No big deal, just obviously more torque to turn the screw. My universal pusher would not adjust properly to grasp the slide at the front sight on my full size, so I had a gunsmith do it.

I used a Vism sight pusher. It is only made to do the rear sights, but is easily converted to do the front also. I believe it cost me $35. I have used it on about a dozen guns.
