M&P9 2.0 5" in Black?

Anybody have any idea if/when an M&P9 2.0 5" will be offered in the Black Armornite finish? Why S&W didn't offer it in Black when it hit the civilian market baffles me. I've shot the FDE model and it is amazing. I want it to be my next duty gun, but FDE would look ridiculous against black duty gear and dark blue uniform. Has anybody here cerakoted an FDE M&P to Black? Should I just wait and see what the 2019 catalog brings?

I don’t know if they have the 5” but Colorado shooting sports is running 20% off sale on ceramic coatings. I love the FDE personally (just got mine last week) good luck!

I emailed S&W on this very request but heard nothing back. How well does cerakote hold up on on the polymer frames?

I too would like to know about the cerakote.
I just bought the 5" in FDE and though the colors not to bad, I would like black better.
