Default F8 rear sight fit in Shield

I am thinking of purchasing an Ashley F8 sight for my Shield. My concern is the rear sight fit will be loose. I would not like to use Loctite as it could jam the striker safety mechanism. I would appreciate hearing from those with F8 sights on their Shield concern how tight the rear sight fits. Thanks.

Why would you be concerned if you haven't yet tried to fit it? It should fit like any other brand. Has the set screw like any other brand. Use the Loctite on the screw, not the mount base.

Yup. There's no problem until there's a problem...

If you're still concerned about it, see if this thread helps, posted a few days ago. (Ashley has gone through a few name changes. They are now XS).
