I've had one for a couple years. Love it, caries well. On target every time though at the end of a range day your fingers and wrist are worn out.
As it's a touch bigger than a 40 or 9mm it's a little harder to find custom holsters, but they're out there.

I have and Carry alot the M & P 40C . I am dumping my X D S 45 due to slide bites and other issuses with it .It also has a 3.3

I retired my XDS45 immediately after getting the Shield 45. Really no comparison. The XDS is a very accurate firearm for its size, but the Shield matches it in that department and a lot easier on the shooter.
