Default bodyguard 380 slide stop fix (empty mags dont hold slide back)

Just picked this gun up and I noticed that the magazine isnt locking back the slide every time.

The problem is that the slide catch lip (the thing that fits into the mag follower and gets pressed up on an empty mag) has a little give to it, so when it moves out it no longer has the clearance to catch the magazine and it misses the follower.

Ive looked over quite a few forums and this is a recurring problem for bodyguard 380 owners. The magazines dont lock the slide back.

The way you fix this is to disassemble the gun, take out the slide lock piece, and **SLIGHTLY** bend it so that there is no more give. You bend it forward so that the lip is always in its forward most position and it can no longer miss the magazine.

I did this yesterday and the magazines now lock the slide back 100% of the time.

I can upload pictures if anyone wants.
