Does S&W sell the M&P 2 optics ready slide only. I would not mind having an optic slide and regular iron sights slide for the same gun.

You can always ask them but my guess is no; that would decrease the sales of whole guns with that feature. Many just have their standard slide milled.

Not sure about 2.0 but they did, and you can still find them, for 1.0 guns. There are several threads about people retrofitting them to 2.0 guns. Involves some work to the slide stop.
