My Shield 9mm. I added a rubber grip as my hands are bigger than normal and all my mags have the grip extensions added. I use the Alien Gear IWB 3.0 holster.

3913. Found it at my LGS in nearly new shape with a good price. Every now and then I try carrying one of my officer sized 1911s, but within a day or two the Smitty is back on my belt. Light, good fit for my hand, one more round than any of the 1911s, and fun and accurate to practice with.

Been having back and hip trouble recently, so I'm carrying my S&W Model 12-2 .38 Special in a Clark holster.

I snagged an old Safariland 540 off ebay. It'll make a good range holster. It's actually for a 645. However, the early production 4506 shares the same profile regarding holster fit and I'v found more success narrowing my search for 645 accessories.

Mine isn't pretty, but it's in good mechanical condition. I painted the front sight with neon orange nail polish. I've got 2 BK Grip adapters coming to replace this Tyler T-Grip and another one I gave to my brother-in-law that came off my Model 65-1.
Update: The BK Grip adapters came in yesterday, and I already put one on the Model 65-1. I'm looking really hard at the Tyler T-Grip on the Model 12-2, wondering if I really need to swap it out. That way I can save the extra BK for the Model 681...

S&W M&P9 M2.0 Subcompact & Performance Center M&P9 M2.0 Shield.
Ironically my first concealed carry gun circa 2005 was an M&P compact when they first came out. I've had dozens of guns from various companies but came full circle this year. I also owned a first gen Shield many years ago. I just love these guns and had to add them back to my collection.

Custom kydex holster made locally..
Gave my Twin brother the Shield last week so he'll have protection during the pandemic..
He's living in my basement with his dog since having a stroke.
Gave my youngest son the Glock 26 Gen 4,
My wife the Taurus 85CH & that leaves me the Glock24 40 S&W long slide for my needs..

M&P Shield 9mm 1.0 came with CT489 green laser. Wanted a light also and put a CT801g laser/light on. Have large hands and added Talon rubber grip kit and TruGlo Tritium Pro night sights. Have a good selection of IWB, OWB, and pocket holsters to accommodate whatever I'm wearing. Carry 8+1 Black Hills Honey Badger 125 grain and a spare 8 mag.

Stock, early production model M&P .40 in a horsehide Super Tuck.
I often pocket carry an early model M&P 9c in a DeSantis Nemesis in the front pocket of cargo shorts, sometimes it goes into the same Super Tuck that I carry the .40 in.
Spare magazines in cheap woven knife pouches with belt clips.

Lately, it's been my 2.5" model 66-1, loaded with Silvertips. It came to me from a former KSP friend of mine, and it needed nothing. Well, I did add a Tyler T to the factory RB stocks. The trigger is very nice.

Currently I carry a Smith & Wesson Sigma SW40VE which I've upgraded with Meprolight Tru-Dot Tritium Night Sights and an NDZ Performance Striker Plate. I also carry a Ruger LCP 10th Anniversary Edition as a BUG.
The Striker Plate features my favorite Bible Verse, which I'm not sure I'm allowed to show or even say here, so better safe tnan sorry.

Shield 9mm 1.0 with 8 round mag in a Remora Clip/no Clip IWB holster. Extremely comfortable, secure and hugs the body better than the box full of holsters I tried previously.

When I replied to this thread back in February, I was still EDCing the .40 PC Shield that I'd carried for the last 4 years.
A few months later I drifted back to a .45 Shield, and have carried that everywhere since.
I Cerakoted it in S&W Tan, put TFO sights on it, and a Lasermax light and green laser.

To tell the truth, this thread has made me recall fondly my 3953 "NPD" pistol and I think I'll put my polymer companion away. There is something comforting and confident about the Third Generation pistols that I am just not getting from that .45 Shield.

My first EDC was a 640-1 that I carried for about 8 years.
I got tired of the weight so I acquired the above 642-1.
This past June I bought a new Shield 45 for my EDC.
About 2-3 months later I was back to carrying my 642-1.
I didn't care for the weight of the Shield either.

My EDC since 1998 is the one in my avatar. It is a Jack Weigand custom 642 engraved and presented to me by the NC Association of Chiefs of Police for serving as their president 1997-98. Sometimes it is the sole carry in a pocket holster. Sometimes it is lonesome and has a soulmate accompany it: a 3 inch 642 with an Apex trigger spring kit and an older Pachmyr Compac grip in a DeSantis pancake holster. The one in the avatar tends to be lonesome when a coat or jacket is worn.

9mm M&P Shield 2.0 gave to twin brother who lives in my basement 2nd level guitar shop
M&P Bodyguard .380 Engraved for my youngest son, Nicer than any Glock 42 IMO..
Picked up two Hk USP 40 Compacts for carry & home protection..
Sold both my Glocks 24 & 26 & turned them into the two Heckler & Kochs..
Anybody that has known me know that I love J Frame S&Ws
I would love to come across a Model 60, 640-1 etc but won't overpay..
The H&Ks will keep me till the pandemic is over or ~~~~~~
