Default Shield 2.0 45 3.3" or Shield 2.0 45 4"

Looking to buy either a 3.3" 2.0 shield or a 4" 2.0 shield in 45 cal.

Wondering how the 4" shoots compared to the 3.3" model, any one have both?

Thanks
kenner

I haven't been able to hold/shoot both but I do have a Shield PC .45 and have been very happy. It is very accurate with my skill set. My LGS has had a difficult time getting the 4" Shields. Be a nice person and buy both, shoot them, then review them .

I have both but my 4” is the PC ported version. The 4” shoots a little softer because of the porting but not a huge difference. Because I have old eyes, I have red dots on both. Also, I’m very short, so carrying the 3” is more comfortable. They both shoot fine. You can’t go wrong with either one.

I have the plain Jane Shield 45 in the 3.3" variant (amongst other 9mm Shields), and if I had the chance, I would via for the 4" model. I don't care about the models with the Red Dot mounting, but would welcome the 4" barrel for increased velocity. IMHO: this is a nice slim, lite and concealable model and a competitor to my Commander sized model.

Which red dots do you have? How do you like them versus other red dots?

I own the 4" version couldn't tell you how it compares to the 3.5" but I would definitely go with the 4" model. In fact, my 4" model shoots flatter than many of my full size striker fired because the bore axis is so low.

I’ve got the JPoint Circle Dot on the 3” and the Shield RDSc that came with the 4”. The only other micro dot is the Sig Romeo zero, which I’ve never seen. I have a Holosun 507c on my Canik but that’s a much bigger gun. The Holosun is awesome.
