I need LPA White Outline Sights for my M&P's
I sure would like to have these sights for my M&P's. They have had them for Glocks for a long time. 3 Dot Sights are almost worthless. How did we get left out in the cold?
I WANT THEM FOR MY M&P's!!
EDIT: 03-12-23 LPA won’t make them for the M&P so maybe someone else will.

Thank you for getting right on this.

I am very happy with my three dot sights. See no advantage of the ones you like.

Then there is no advantage for you. The advantage is for me, LPA, and any other M&P owners that may want a set of adjustable sights far superior to any 3 dot sights on an M&P from the factory. We get great sights and LPA gets $120. It’s a win/win.
I’m not suggesting S&W take away your 3 dot sights. You and many others like them.

Everyone is different when it comes to sight acquisition and alignment. I too would like the square bracket rear, or center single slash centered to front dot.
Choices is always good
Recently I painted the entire front post white, leaving the rear with white factory dots. Much easier to pick up and especially easier to align top of front to top of rear with much greater accuracy.
I used KG industries Site Coat paint. expensive at 16 bucks for a small bottle but should do many many sights. Comes in a nice bottle with long and narrow dispensing “spout” to place very accurately without a mess or painters brush. In the future I will get the bright red and put a drop of that on the front dot indent. With the white outline of the front post with red dot i am thinking it will really pop.

Seems like it would be pretty easy to turn any square notch black rear sights, into goal post sights with some tape, and a paint pen or nail polish. I did this with my AK sights.

As far as I am concerned, a plain, black rear sight is the best. You can paint on dots, squares, outlines, vertical line, polka dots, or zebra stripes to your heart's content.

^^^ A Grady Judd of the S&W Forum.
I’m with you 100% on the lousy three-dot sights that have flooded and are drowning the pistol shooting world. The only thing worse, that I’ve seen, is those awful three vertical-bars sights that Browning put on their later High Powers. WTH? Are there no pistol shooters at Browning? I’d guess not.
The LPA sight looks good - particularly if it’s not too tall. I’d buy one.

I wasn't sure I knew what the LPA sights were so looked at the link. Sure enough, that would be pretty easy to do.

Yup, thinking about it further I did a set of gi style sights for a 1911 like this. I later cleared the rear on the AK and the 1911 when I came around to the glory of blacked out rear sights.

What is the advantage of a blacked out rear sight?

Thanks, but I don’t see any. All I see is either dots, or they are not adjustable.

I still don’t see anything on their site that is a white outline and a post that looks like the Glock sight pictured below. There are plenty for S&W Gen 3’s and 1911’s, but I can’t find any for a M&P.
This is the email I sent LPA….

I would very much like a set of adjustable White Outline sights for my Smith & Wesson M&P pistols. I don’t see them on your website, so I assume you don’t make them. Do you have any future plans to make them?
I’m looking for something like the SPR36GL18 you make for the Glock.
Thanks

This was the answer I got back…….

Dear Mr. Dave686,
Thank you for your email.
At this time we don’t have any plan to make a white outline sight set.
Sorry for this.
Best Regards,

I still need White Outline Sights for my M&P's and I still don't have them.
It's been over 3 years so I'm bumping this up to see if anyone has seen anything new, or if any company has had the vision to do this.
Forget LPA, they don't have the vision. Plenty from them for Glock, but none for us.

sounds like you need to put a Glock slide on your M&P frame.

I put a set of those LPA's on a Sig. They worked well but the rear hung way over the rear of the slide.
