Reliable Shield magazine extensions?
I am considering purchasing a magazine extension for one of my spare mags. Which ones are the most reliable? I want to add 1-2 rounds to the spare mag but I want something that has proven to be reliable.

I use Magguts +2 in two factory 8 round mags.
No issues with either mag, with 200-300 rounds run in each.
Only adds about a 1/4 inch to the mag length, so no issues concealing.

HYVE extensions on 3 of my 7rd 45 shield mags.
Been over 2 yrs now not a single issue with any of the mag or function of weapon.

This is the best replacement magazine I've ever found for the Shield

I use the Magguts +2 in a couple of my Shield mags. Never had a failure with either one. The +2 will work in the 7 round or 8 round mags and adds only about 1/8th inch to the overall length of the mag. I installed them in 7 round mags and have 9 +1 with no significant increase in grip length.

Bought the Hyve +1 extensions for my 7-round mags (turning them into and making them similar in size to the 8-round mags that I was used to). The little bit of extra weight is wonderful when dropping the mag. Uses stock spring. No malfunctions.

Thanks for the recommendations. I will be trying the Magguts and/or the Hyve.

Try the Strike Industries +2 extension for the 7 round magazines. I have two of them and now buy 7 round mags and add these to them for carry.
