Default M&P9c (1st gen) sleeve for 15 round mags?

Hey all. I’ve asked this question a couple years ago with no luck. There really wasn’t a sleeve available to fit the 1st gen 9c with a 2nd gen 15 round mag. Today I listened to a pod cast (gun talk radio) created in October ‘19 with an interview with a SW rep that they are/will be coming out with a magazine sleeve so that someone who has the m&p subcompact (2nd gen version of the old 9c still with the 12 round mags) can have the option of loading up the current larger 2nd gen compact 15 rounder mags.

Does anyone know anything about this? Have they hit the store shelves already? I’m honestly surprised it’s taken them this long to deliver on this. Such a mag sleeve is a no brainer.

Yup, I guess so. Last time I asked, people were talking about buying sleeves for other pistols and grinding them down or doing other modifications to get them to fit while others talked about wrapping o-rings or something else around the mag to fill the gap.

Thanks!

Yeah I wish I could do the full size mags too but I live in Colorado. Any mags over 15 is illegal here.
