Roll pin that holds sear housing in shield frame?
Does anyone know where I can find the roll pin that goes through the frame and the safety and holds the sear block housing? I acquired a 1.0 Shield with a very stiff thumb safety ( almost wouldn’t work) and found out the roll pin was broken and bent. Yep Bubba job by someone before me. So now I need to find replacement and I can’t find one. Maybe I am just not looking right. Any assistance would be greatly appreciated.
Thanks,

I second this. I feel sure they will send the part at no charge, but it might take a week or two as they aren't real fast.
If you don't want to wait I'll bet you could match up that roll pin out of a Harbor Freight set.

Midwest Gun Works has several pins. This item MAY be the one you need: confirm before purchase.

Measure the diameter and head to your local home center.

Thanks everyone. Tried your suggestions none of them had the one I was looking for but, and this is an interesting but. I finally got to speak with the right person at Smith and Wesson. He said that they could not replace it due to the fact that it was most likely damaged by previous owner and there for not covered by Smith. I told him I totally understood that but was there any way I could purchase one. He told me that at the moment there were none available and here is the but. He said the pin was the same size as the locking block pin and it would interchange and it was available from other sources. So I order one from Midwest gun works. Will let you know for sure when it arrives. I am a teacher and we are out due to the virus so it will give me something to do.
Thanks again, be safe
