Default My New M&P Shield EZ 9

Waiting in line for an hour today I finally got to the counter so I could check out the guns still available at Sportsman's Warehouse. Seems there is a run on guns do to the CORVID-19 Virus. I only foresee things getting worse so I opted to add a new centerfire to my collection.

I wanted either a Smith & Wesson or a Ruger and really didn't know which would be best for me until I got to feel them. I also wanted to choose between 9 mm and .380.

They had no more .380 ammo so I stuck with the 9. I have about 2000 rounds of nine now so that saved me from adding to my bill for the day.

This pistol is as advertised. Very easy to load and cock the slide. Picking it up, it fit my hand real well and the sights were very easy to see with the 3 white dots.

Trigger pull is right at 5 pounds. Not bad for a little carry gun. They were priced at $399 and I had a $40 gift certificate so I went and bought it. Now, all cleaned it's in the safe, surrounded by Rugers. I have one lonely Smith from days past, a Model 10 in .38. I like Smith Products and couldn't feel happier that I bought this one.

I bought one for my wife and we both really like it. Accurate and fun to shoot.

Default Easy enough

Congratulations on your new S&W purchase.

I just wanted to look at the EZ 9mm but our Local Gun Shop
was out, they appear to be popular.

They did have the EZ 380, so I looked at it. Very nice. Easy
to operate, I liked it. Point/aimed comfortably.

I think you made the right decision on getting the 9mm.

Please give a Range Report when you try it out.

The Best to you and your Endeavors.

My Circa 2008 Ruger SR1911 45ACP, only big bore Semi
Auto I got.

Hey everyone, purchased my 9mmEZ in Feb, had to send it back to Springfield Mass. for a small slide problem, they had it for about 3+ weeks, got it back a couple of weeks ago, but due to work schedule, and now this corona virus thing, have not been to the range to shoot it. I am anxiously awaiting my time with this pistol. All the reviews I have read, and videos I have watched lead me to believe I won’t be disappointed. Will follow up with a range report when I get the chance.

I ordered one the other day, but with IL on lockdown, I may have to wait until April 7th (or later) to pick it up. Oh well, they were all out of 9mm ammo to boot. I went to 3 additional store yesterday and no one had any. Hopefully, that changes as the supply chain evens out..

I picked up my Ez9 a bit ago and my one range trip I loved it. Unfortunately my closest range closed and for me still far too cold to go anywhere outdoors to shoot it. So my next visit may be a couple + weeks away yet.
As for ammo i had ordered some Blazer Brass at Bass Pro when they had their 2A sale but it went on b/o. I just recd a notice that it has now shipped so perhaps their stock is building back up now.
