Shield EZ9 sights
Anyone know of any aftermarket night sights for the 9 EZ? Mine shoots real low and I’d like to get a shorter front sight at least?

I have been looking for a set but can’t find anyone making replacements yet. Also, the rear factory sight needs to be examine closely because it appears there is some kind of plug where the set screw is on other Shield sights. My experience with the 9EZ was a Very quick glance so hopefully someone else will chime in on this.

The EZ doesn't use the same sight dovetail as the regular Shield ?
If it does, the Tru-Glo TFOs are a good deal, $76 for the set on Amazon.
Fiber optic for the day, Tritium for the night. When it's dark out, the front lamp is brighter than the back two lamps, the way it's supposed to be if you are to concentrate on the front sight.

It's not a plug, to adjust the rear sight you either have to move the slide and use an Allen wrench from underneath to loosen the sight or take the slide off and loosen it.

I contacted the company and asked them if they were going to come out with the sights for the EZ9 like those on the PC380EZ.
I just got a confirmation of receipt and am supposed to be contacted shortly. We will see and if I get an answer I will post it.

I verified with S&W, the sights are NOT the same as the original Sheild or the 380 EZ. That would have been too easy, I guess.

No, it would have been too inexpensive.

See a Post titled EZ9 Tritium Pro Night sights and you will see info from TRUGLO.
My daughter has them on her Performance Center 380EZ and I really like them.

I just put a Dawson fiber optic front sight on my EZ9, I ordered the one for the Shield and it fit fine. The rear sights are NOT the same as the standard Shield.

Fltr09: First I have to mention that the front sight dot was drilled incorrectly. If you line up the three dots the gun will shoot low.
I painted my front sight with Testor’s bright yellow model paint and the
back rear sight dots with flat black to overcome this issue.
There are some good suggestions here on different night sights for this
gun. I am waiting for the all green dots without the white circle around
the front lamp. Given time, these will be available. JMO
The 9mm EZ is a great gun! Enjoy !
Be SAFE and Shoot Often!

You have to charge them with good LED for at least 3 minutes, then you have great bright glowing light for 5 - 7 minutes...then less...and less..and less... after 45 minutes you can still see this light but not as bright as you want to see... after 6 hours the light is gone.

Seems so strange to me that as popular as the EZ 9 is that Ameriglo and Trijicon are not making sights for it. I have Truglos on mine and don't care for them after using Ameriglo Agents on my Glocks. These have the "U" shaped rear and makes picking up the front sight so fast and easy. Sure wish I could find them for the EZ 9 but after calling them I don't have high hopes.
