Default Performance Center 9EZ

Has anyone bought one or actually seen one. If you have would you please tell us what sights are on them?

I checked the S&W website. No Performance Center 9EZs are listed there, so apparently they are not yet in production.

I have the model 13223 (black w/ thumb safety). From the website (Performance Center(R) M&P(R)9 SHIELD™ EZ(R) Black Ported Barrel Manual Thumb Safety | Smith & Wesson), the sights are: HI-VIZ® Litewave H3™ Tritium/Litepipe Sights. The sights on mine say HZ H3 19.

I love my EZ9mm and 380, but I don't see that this one is MA Compliant, so until that happens, just a wish for me. If it's got a light trigger that may not happen.

What irony. Made in MA, but not compliant in MA !

I wonder if the grip safety can be swapped out with the regular EZ grip safety?

I was eyeing a PC EZ at a local shop. I have the non-PC 9EZ, but yea he comments about the grip safety put me off.
Love the flat trigger, but didn't notice the grip safety in handling in the store. Shooting would be a different animal. I'm so happy with the regular one, I'll just leave it there and get night sights for the one I have.

I did email Smith and Wesson and inquired about buying a the PC flat trigger, but they told me they wouldn't be selling those parts outright.

If I can get a stock EZ grip safety from Smith & Wesson I would definitely buy the Performance Center gun and swap safeties.

Maybe I'll email them and see what they say.

Let us know. I just checked Midwest gun works and there are stock parts for the 380 standard version, but not for the 9EZ or any PC versions.

Just got a response from Smith & Wesson regarding a grip safety purchase.

Quote:
Thank you for contacting Smith and Wesson. The grip safety is not something that can be ordered.

If you have any other questions please feel free to contact us

Thank you and Have a Great Day!

I was bummed out by their answer. I really wanted the PC version in black. Oh well, I think it's going to be a regular Shield EZ for me and I'll upgrade the sights.
