M&P 2.0 shooting low
Went out the other day to shoot my new full size 2.0. At seven yards it was shooting 4 inches low and that was taking a full sight,(i.e. covering the target with the front sight blade). I normally prefer a six o'clock hold at that distance. Now this is my third M&P I have a standard 1.0 and a M&P Pro I shoot those just fine. My buddy also shot low with it.
My question is should I call S&W and see what they say, or just put adjustable sights on it. Has any one else had this problem? Thanks Happy Fathers Day
P.S. I was shooting 124gr. FMJ I also tried 115gr. FMJ with no real shift in impact still low.

Aim higher.
Sorry. I couldn't pass this one up.

Try 147 grain, it will impact a good 4 inches higher, at 25 yards anyway.
I don't shoot that often at 7 yards, I figure if I can shoot well at 25 yards, then 7 yards will be a breeze.
The heavier, slower bullet will impact on the target higher, as the gun has more time to start rising up before the bullet has left the barrel.
Faster, lighter loads (like 115 grain) will hit lower on the target.
If heavier weight ammo doesn't get your groups high enough, you might consider a lower front sight from Dawson Precision.

Did you shoot using a rest or were you just standing?

I was standing i'm going back out Friday with bags and doing it right.
I also found a sight company that sales various height front sights. I'm not doing anything til I reshoot it. I thought of 147Gr. also but would prefer to stick with 124gr. if possible. I have to glock 40 cal. and one prefers 165gr. and the other 180's. Thanks for your help guys

Well my 2.0 compact 9 was shooting 4” low at 15 yards also. Sent it in and had new sights installed. Got it back two to three weeks ago but have not had time to take it to the range yet.
Will try the end of this week and report back. Rastoff knows of my troubles.
Plant has it set to poa/poi at 25 yards as requested. I’ll let you know my results by the weekend.

I can understand wanting to stick with a certain weight.
When I had two 40s, a FS and a Shield, I wanted to shoot 180 grain and had stocked up on that weight. Both guns shot the 180s about 2 inches high at 25.
No problem, it was basically sighted in for 50 yards, and at close in ranges, I'd be hitting center of mass.
165 grain would likely have hit dead on, but I wanted to stick with 180 grain.
My .40 Shield with a 9mm conversion barrel in it hit 5 inches low with 115, 124 grain wasn't much better. I had to get 147 grain for it to impact close to where I was aiming.
My 5 inch MP9 hits a bit high (2 inches) at 25 with 115 and 124 grain, 147 grain would be way high. I can live with 2 inches high.
All of those M&Ps have TFO sights, so it's not like I can just order a new height front sight without losing the tritium/fiber optic capability.
Trying different weight loads is the way I had to go.

Just back from the range. As promised by the plant my 2.0. Compact is now hitting poa/poi at 15 to 25 yds. Dead center hold hitting 8” plates no problem. Very pleased
