I do not have any experience with High Noon.
Since you asked for any advice, I would suggest the Upper Limit by Mitch Rosen. Their Express Line is top quality and half the price. I've used it for several years and found the straight pull as versus the canted pull to be a very sturdy, easy to hide and comfortable holster.

OOPS not half the price any more they have gone up since I bought mine. Still a good buy and usually ships fast.

No experience with High Noon. I have two Desantis Thumb Break Scabbard holsters, including one for my .45 Shield. Outstanding holsters.

I recently bought an IWB leather holster that took 2.5 months to get, because of the wait time. No regrets - it's an excellent holster and I wanted that particular design. But when I compare it side by side to my Desantis, I see no difference in the quality of the leather or workmanship. The Desantis is less than half the cost, and you'll have it in a few days.

Best wishes and good luck with your selection.

High Noon makes good holsters, but they can be pricey.

I have two of the Mr Softy holsters from High Noon, one for my Shield and one for my Compact. At $30 each I consider them a real bargain. They are IMO well made and for me very comfortable, although a lot of folks don't like appendix carry.

I had one positive experience with the company. When I ordered my second holster they sent me the wrong one, but when I contacted them about it they immediately sent the right one and told me to just keep the wrong one which I then gave to a friend who could use it. Every company makes occasional mistakes, it's how they fix them that matters and I think this company went out of their way to make sure I was satisfied.

I would definitely recommend them.

so I drank the Milt Sparks kool-aid, while the price is high the wait is an eternity I have three IWB holsters one for my 9mm shield, one for my 40c and one for my springfield mod 2 compact in 45. complete comfort with them all. Not sure of he does it with all holsters but the IWB has a metal band sewn in around the top, some say this is not needed and reholstering don't save your life. I want to make sure it doesn't "close" after I draw.
good luck,
I did order some other popular holsters, ones with names everyone has heard, sent them back and order a Milt Sparks.

Those High Noon folks are mighty proud of their holsters. About $50 too proud, I'd say!

The Milt Sparks website may still have some Summer Special 2s ready to ship for the M&P Shield 9. I bought one earlier this summer and like it very much.
