Nice stippling job. I have a .40 Shield that I'm having some major ftf issues with. I lost faith in it as a carry option, and switched to a 2.0 Subcompact 9mm.

I refuse to give up on my shield though. I'm ordering some new mags, and giving the feed ramp a good polishing to see if I can remedy the problem.

I had bought some 155 grain lead semi-wadcutters, and no matter what C.O.L. I set them at, it turned my Shield into a single shot.

Fired 50 and sold off the other 450 for $10 to my LGS.

Other than that, I haven't had any feeding issues with this pistol.

I did polish the feed ramp also.

I don't understand why some .40 Shields have feeding issues but others don't.

Yea, try different magazines but bullet shape may be the issue.

Trying different ammo first would be the cheaper option.
