I ordered an M&P 22 Compact on September 8 through a local gun shop. They have no idea when it will arrive and apparently have no way of finding out. Smith and Wesson tells me that delivery times are dependent on the distributor, whoever that may be, so they're no help either. I'd like to take the pistol on an outing in late October (so about six weeks after ordering).
Has anyone on the forum recently ordered a 22 Compact? If so, about how long was the delivery time?
I understand that these are tough times for everybody and every company, so while I'll be disappointed if I don't get the new gun in time, I'll live through it.
