Default M&P Shield Manual Safety

Does anyone know of an after market safety for the shield? I would like to find one that is more user friendly.

As far as "user friendly" do you mean one that you can disengage during the draw ?

The safety on the Shield is big enough to use when loading/unloading or shoving into a holster, but once in the holster, I'm taking the safety off.
The safety on a Shield is not big enough to reliably try to disengage when drawing.
If it was any bigger, or "user friendly", it might be inadvertently engaged when you don't want it to.

Unfortunately nobody is willing to manufacture "extended safety lever" for Shield. Even Apex, who makes a lot of good stuff for S&W doesn't want to make it.

I saw few people on Internet making it at home, using Epoxy and Dremel.
First you have to "build" small ledge, putting few layers of Epoxy, then shape it to your needs with Dremel. Then color it with sharpie or nail color.

Or... buy M&P9 EZ with thumb safety
