Can the slide on the Shield 1,2 Easy or Perf. Ctr be interchanged? I'd like to get a Perf.Ctr.with fluted barrel and put it on a Easy Shield. Think that can be done? Thanks,,,,,Steve
Slides on Shield EZs and slides on standard Shields cannot be interchanged, as they have very different operating systems. Shield EZs are hammer-fired, and Shields are striker-fired.
When you say "fluted barrel", do you mean "ported barrel"? If so, you can get a Performance Center Shield EZ with a ported barrel. Otherwise, I am unaware of any Shields with fluted barrels.
