Default 2.0 trigger hitch/click

I have posted on the other forum about the problems I encountered with my new 4" compact, and have gotten some very valuable replies. I have done all the fluff and buff, installed the apex hard sear and spring, and the USB,and the trigger is Almost perfect. But there is still something that bothers me. I hate typing, so I copied some of the last post I made there
to describe the problem as best I can.
"Now I need to load up some practice rounds and shoot it some. I don't shoot paper except for load development troubleshooting, etc, and it won't make much difference then, but the "click" is still bothering me. It occurs in the "take up" so it won't affect accuracy(maybe). Since doing the things suggested, and some polish work, it has very light take up with almost
un -discernible bit of friction in the trigger,, and then very crisp break. It has gotten better in every aspect except the click, and I'm hoping it will go away with some rounds through it. It's more just curiosity, but I've always been one to try and find how everything works. What's really got me going is,,, if I point the gun down(towards the floor), rack the slide and then a slow trigger pull, I get the click just before the break. It will do it over and over. Then, if I point the gun up and rack the slide, it doesn't do it. If I hold the gun level, it's intermittent.
I can watch the trigger bar through the slight opening between the lower and the slide, and I can see it "snap" over just as it does when resetting. At the same time the right side slide release/lock lever moves with the trigger bar. It sounds just like it does when testing the reset. I'll keep looking, till I wear it out taking it apart" I thought this post might bring to light some ideas I haven't tried yet. I really like this pistol, and it will be fine even if I don't figure out this minor problem, but I want to make it as close to perfect as I can. Any and all comments are much appreciated. Gary
